Final Case findings- Deuce

Investigators reported shadows (nursery), loud thuds (laundry room), soft taps/raps (upstairs), hearing of movement with the rocking chair (nursery), whistling sounds (new basement), and cold spots in the NW upstairs room. None of these occurrences substantiate clear or unequivocal proof of paranormal activity, although they do provide for further consideration and investigation into whatever is causing these events. Although it is the opinion of Forest City Paranormal Society that Willow Creek Farm is substantially “haunted,” many of these occurrences would not hold up to skeptical disputes. For instance, the taps or raps could be the foundation settling. Whistling noises could be caused by insects or rodents (although rodents were never witnessed). Cold spots may have occurred due to the temperature drop at night. 

The only three occurrences that we could find absolutely no explanation was the loud banging noise in the washing room, the movement on the PASCO sensor in front of the rocking chair, and the shadow man experienced by Nick. To this day, there is no explanation for these occurrences. The equipment we used does not move on its own, hence we believe the movement in the Nursery room is significant enough to uphold skeptical debate. Also, shadows are produced by changes in light and need a physical light manifestation that produces a specific source of energy (body). Without a body in the house at the time, no explanation can give details for the shadow that Nick witnessed. The loud banging noise simply put, was something that just cannot be explained. It is the very definition of what paranormal means (unexplainable). 

Willow Creek Farm definitely has a special aura it holds with regard to spectral phenomena. Forest City Paranormal Society always looks forward to stay at a place and investigate haunting with a reputation and stories that boggle the mind. Every time we enter a new place we know we have a job to do, and that is to decide whether a property’s paranormal activity warrants further investigative research. We feel Willow Creek Farm is the type of property that warrants further investigation and recommend the label of “mega haunting” for Willow Creek Farm.
