Our Service
Forest City Paranormal Society is an amateur group of academics and free-lance paranormal investigators. Our experiences with the paranormal often stem from situations we had as children or investigated on our own. There is no such thing as a “professional paranormal investigator.” With that said, please be wary of groups or individuals that make such claims, they probably are out to get some money.
Investigation Process
- First contact conversation
This is where we receive general information on the occurences and happenings on a property
- FCPS investigation meeting
Our group will meet or discuss how to approach an investigation. This may include denying a landowner an investigation due to safety concerns or inconsistent stories.
- Interview
Members of FCPS will interview family and/or friends to establish qualitative data pertaining to the investigation.
- Investigation
FCPS will enter a property trying to determine whether paranormal activity is occurring or not. We establish paranormal definitions and apply those definitions through evidence that we collect. The evidence from EMF detectors, changes in temperature (cold spots), EVPs (electronic voice phenomena), and other devices help us conclude whether a place is experiencing paranormal or unexplainable events.
- Report
Landowners will receive an official report that informs them of our findings.
