Forest City Paranormal Society strives to stand apart from the rest by offering our clients comprehensive reports, thorough investigations, and never forgetting that the most important factor is the human element. While every paranormal research group seeks to gain evidence, we feel that collecting evidence for evidence’s sake forgets the fact that someone must return to a home or business to live or work. It is our opinion that helping the living understand what is going on and feel empowered is more important than simply collecting proof of the dead. We respect that each client is different, and we take each client and each situation seriously. Any evidence we do collect is reviewed by several team members, and never just single persons. In this way we can eliminate poor or uncertain evidence. Investigation notes taken by HSPs are always made available to the client to ensure truth and credibility as well.

Our team prides itself on being professional and courteous. Almost every one of our members has been present and actively involved with our group, investigating and researching, since 2008. We do occasionally accept new members and we thoroughly screen and train each in order to offer a team which works very efficiently together. Forest City Paranormal Society will not speak poorly of other investigative teams, nor will our clients experience any “in house” arguing. Our team members become close friends, and the friendship extends beyond the interest in paranormal. We often host cookouts and various activities just to reinforce that bond. In our opinion, it makes us better investigators by instilling that trust and camaraderie. Each member is fully confident in the abilities of the rest and this is evident to our clients.

Finally, Forest City Paranormal Society always attempts to find a rational and natural explanation first. In this way we try to rule out anything that might be misconstrued as paranormal when, in fact, it is not. This allows for any strange activity captured on film, EVP, or digital stills to be that much more plausible as paranormal. The questionnaire we send our clients helps us to understand exactly what they are going through as well as any steps they might have already taken themselves in order to rule out day-to-day occurrences (such as a settling house, or air passing through duct work). This also helps us to set up an investigation which is specialized for each client’s particular needs. In this way our team is sized suitably for each location, and the appropriate equipment is brought in order to optimize results. Our goal is always customer satisfaction, and we pride ourselves in our experience.

Currently, our investigation team consists of nine individuals who are highly motivated to investigate and find the truth behind phenomena. Our client base spans in the greater Rockford and Winnebago County area. History of Forest City Paranormal Society

Summer 2008: Aaron, Josh, and Deuce decided to start an organization that addressed paranormal acticity in the Rockford community.

September 2008: officially we founded R.I.P (Regents Investigating the Paranormal) as a Rockford College organization to address the paranormal.
